There has been a tremendous concern on overpopulation and separate measurements are being taken to curb over it.
Well if one thinks that the world’s total population, that is, more than 7.3 billion, is insurmountable, then there is amazing news from National Geographic.
In their topical investigation, National Geographic has stated that if every definite stand shoulder to shoulder in that case the populace might turn contained by the 500 square miles of Los Angeles.
Some of the world's largest populous countries are:
- China (1,439,509,691)
- India (1,380,461,750)
- USA (331,067,745)
- Indonesia (273,621,209)
- Pakistan (221,038,743)
- Brazil (212,038,743)
For example, if you put 1,000 people in a 10 by 10-meter square place, although 4,200 can be set up inside a vacant stadium.
The recent UN study projects that the world's population growth will not bring out to end anytime soon. It has been estimated five years ago by the demographers that by 2045, the world population would be expected to reach about 9 billion and then begin to level off soon after.
So, in future whenever we debate about population, we should always consider the lifestyle and its impact to count the population equation.
